The emotional fitness gap is real, and it's growing
According to the World Health Organization, more than 14% of adolescents globally experience mental health conditions, with depression and anxiety among the most common. Yet their emotional capacity is never formally developed.
"Schools and families offer shade to young people when they face problems—a place of comfort and protection. But that same shade can also limit their growth. When we shield them from every storm, we unintentionally deny them the chance to build the resilience they'll need when they must stand in the sun alone."
