Elysian
Features

Small on the surface. Careful underneath.

A ten-second for students, a calm daily picture for teachers, and a whole-school view for leaders. Here is everything Elysian does, and exactly who sees what.

ExerciseThought detective. “What would I tell a friend?”

Maya sees everything she wrote. Her note and exercise writing stay with her.

01 / For students

Ten seconds, then on with the day.

Students say how they feel, answer the questions their teacher sends, and have somewhere private to go on a harder day.

01
Daily check-inEight moods, laid out by energy and pleasantness, then a short reflection and an optional private note. One a day, in the student’s own timezone.
+10 XP
02
Checking in with the classWhen a teacher puts a QR code on the board, students scan it and check in from their phone. The board only shows colours and a count. Anyone who already checked in that day is already counted.
New
03
AssignmentsShort questionnaires from their teacher, one question at a time in a quiet, dark focus mode. Progress is saved, and late answers are still accepted.
+20 XP
04
Mood journalEvery check-in with its note, a 14-day trend, the best day of the week and a breakdown of emotions. Insights appear after three days.
Private
05
Skills and badgesTen levels and badges for streaks, milestones and steady check-ins. The messages are gentle: a hard check-in is met with “it is good that you logged it”.
06
LeaderboardA class ranking with a weekly board that resets every Monday. Points mostly reward showing up, not being happy.
07
QuestionsAsk the teacher anything without a name, and read the answers with the whole class. A question that suggests someone is at risk still reaches their teacher.

02 / ExercisesNew

For the moments a lesson can’t fix.

Six short activities a student can open on their own, any time. What they write in Three good things or Thought detective goes into a private journal only they can read. Their teacher sees which exercise was done and when, never the content.

01
Cyclic sighBreathing · 1, 3 or 5 minPaced breathing with a circle that grows and shrinks. Box breathing and 4-7-8 too.
02
Thought detectiveThinking · About 5 minCatch the automatic thought, spot the thinking trap, weigh the evidence, find a fairer thought.
03
Body scanNoticing · About 4 minGuided attention from feet to face, with a figure that lights up each area.
04
Three good thingsJournaling · About 3 minThree good things from today, with an optional why for each. Private to the student.
05
Desk resetMovement · About 4 minSix seated stretches, 40 seconds each, with a ring timer to follow.
06
Number huntFocus · 1 to 3 minFind the numbers in order on a grid, and try to beat a personal best.

A clear picture, before registration.

The dashboard opens with one plain sentence about how the room is feeling, then gets out of the way.

How it works
04 / Flags

A second pair of eyes. Never the last word.

Every assignment answer is read by an AI safeguarding review. A shows the exact words and a one-line reason, and stays open until a person marks it reviewed. It is a prompt to look, not a clinical assessment.

Responses

The review is told not to flag ordinary bad days. It will still raise flags that turn out to be nothing, and it will not catch everything. Always follow your school's safeguarding policy, and contact emergency services if a student may be in immediate danger.

“Honestly I’m tired all the time and nothing feels worth the effort lately.”

Describes ongoing low energy and losing interest in things.
