About Elysian

We're on a mission to make emotional fitness as normal and accessible as physical exercise.

Our Story

Elysian was founded by an international team based in Asia who recognized a critical gap in education: while we train young people's minds and bodies, we rarely train their emotional capacity. We watched as bright, capable students struggled not with academics, but with rejection, isolation, and the emotional demands of transitioning to adulthood and the workplace.

According to the World Health Organization, more than 14% of adolescents globally experience mental health conditions. When these young people transition into higher education or the workforce, many find themselves emotionally unprepared. Research shows that over 70% find work scenarios significantly harder than school life due to constant rejection, less validation, and emotional challenges they were never trained to handle.

The root cause? Their emotional capacity was never formally developed. We created Elysian to change that—to turn emotional skills into a measurable, scalable part of education just like math or literacy.

Our Mission

Make emotional fitness as normal and accessible as physical exercise by creating science-informed tools that help young people practice coping, communication, and resilience in their everyday lives.

Our Vision

A world where every young person enters adulthood equipped with the emotional skills to thrive—not just survive—in school, work, and life.

International Team

Based in Asia with team members across continents, we bring diverse perspectives to solving the global challenge of youth mental health and emotional preparedness.

Partnership Approach

We partner with schools, universities, and youth organizations to integrate emotional fitness into education—supporting students while easing the load on overstretched staff.

The Shade Analogy

Schools and families offer shade to young people when they face problems—a place of comfort and protection. But that same shade can also limit their growth.

When we shield them from every storm, we unintentionally deny them the chance to build the resilience they'll need when they must stand in the sun alone. Elysian provides a safe space to practice standing in the sun—to face challenges, build coping skills, and develop emotional strength before the stakes are real.
